How to activate the code

    Make sure you are signed in to the correct Microsoft account — once activated, the code cannot be transferred to another account.

    On an Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console: open the Store app from the home screen, move the cursor to the left or press the View button on the controller to open the side menu, then select "Redeem code".

  3. 3

    Enter the 25-character code and follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. 4

    Via a browser: go to redeem.microsoft.com, sign in to your account, enter the 25-character code, and follow the prompts.

  5. On Windows 10/11: press "Start", type "store", and open Microsoft Store. Select "More" (…) → "Redeem a code", enter the 25-character code, and follow the instructions.
