How to buy and redeem Planet Zoo gift cards

· · 4 min

What you are actually buying

Planet Zoo keeps putting out animal packs and expansion packs, and if you want to grow your zoo without paying full retail every time, gift cards are a solid way to do it. On our store, each Planet Zoo pack gift card runs about 4 USD. That covers a wide range of DLC, from regional animal packs to themed expansions. You pick the one you want, pay, and we send a code to your email. You then redeem that code on the platform where you play the game.

I want to be upfront about what these are. They are redemption codes that correspond to specific Planet Zoo DLC packs. They are not a generic wallet top-up. You choose the pack, and the code you receive unlocks that particular content.

Which packs are available

Here is the full list of Planet Zoo pack gift cards we currently carry, all priced at about 4 USD:

Each pack adds its own set of animals, scenery items, and sometimes campaign scenarios or challenge modes. The Arctic Pack brings cold-climate species and snowy building pieces. The Tropical Pack leans into lush, warm-biome habitats. They all cost the same, so the choice really comes down to which animals you want in your zoo and which building themes fit your current project.

How to buy a Planet Zoo gift card

The purchase flow is simple. We operate as a digital kiosk, so everything happens online and you get your code electronically.

  1. Go to the Planet Zoo section on our store at blinkcodes.com.
  2. Browse the available packs and click the one you want to buy.
  3. Check the price and product description to confirm it matches the DLC you need.
  4. Add it to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  5. Enter your payment details and complete the purchase.
  6. Check your email for the redemption code we send you after payment is confirmed.

That is it. The code typically arrives within minutes. If you do not see it, check your spam folder first, then reach out to support@blinkcodes.com if it is still missing.

How to redeem your code

Planet Zoo is a Steam game, so you will be redeeming your code through Steam, not through an in-game menu. This trips people up sometimes. The code is for the Steam platform.

  1. Open the Steam client on your computer and log in to your account.
  2. Click on your account name in the top right and select "Account details," or go to the "Games" menu and choose "Activate a Product on Steam."
  3. Click "Next" on the activation welcome screen, then agree to the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
  4. Enter the code you received from us in the text field exactly as it appears in your email.
  5. Click "Next" to confirm. Steam will verify the code and add the DLC to your account.
  6. Launch Planet Zoo from your Steam library. The new pack content will be available automatically.

If Steam throws an error when you enter the code, double-check that you typed it correctly. Codes are case-sensitive and every character matters. Also make sure the code corresponds to the right region. If problems persist, contact us at support@blinkcodes.com and we will help you sort it out.

A few things worth knowing before you buy

You need to own the base game of Planet Zoo for any of these pack codes to work. The DLC is an add-on. Steam will not let you redeem a pack code if you do not have Planet Zoo in your library. So if you are buying a gift card for someone else, confirm they already own the base game first.

Also, these codes are tied to the Steam version of Planet Zoo. If you play on a different platform, the code will not work there. Planet Zoo is primarily a PC game distributed through Steam, so this covers the vast majority of players, but it is worth stating plainly.

One more thing. Because each pack is about 4 USD, you can grab several without spending much. I have seen players pick up three or four at a time when they are planning a major zoo overhaul and want access to a bigger animal roster all at once. It is a reasonable approach if you know which biomes and species you want to work with.

What happens after redemption

Once Steam confirms the activation, the pack content is permanently tied to your account. You do not need to do anything else. The animals, scenery pieces, and any scenario content from the pack will show up in your game the next time you load Planet Zoo. If the game is already running, restart it so the new content registers.

From there, you can start placing the new animals in habitats, using the themed building pieces in your exhibits, and incorporating whatever campaign or challenge content the pack includes into your zoo. The DLC becomes part of your base game, not a separate launch option.
