How to buy and redeem The Sims 4 gift cards
Why The Sims 4 game packs are worth it
If you've spent any real time with The Sims 4, you know the base game is just the starting point. The game packs are where the personality lives. Whether you want to build haunted mansions, raise chaotic toddlers, or send your Sims on a jungle expedition, there is a pack that changes how you play.
I've bought a few of these over the years and the price point is consistent. Most game packs run about 18 USD, with a handful sitting at about 17 USD. That is not pocket change. So it helps to know exactly what you are getting and how the redemption process works before you commit.
What you can get right now
Here is the current lineup of Sims 4 game packs available through our store. Every one of these is a digital code delivered by email, not a physical card.
- The Sims 4 Dream Home Decorator Game Pack for about 18 USD, which adds an interior decorator career
- The Sims 4 Realm of Magic for about 18 USD, where your Sims can learn spellcasting in a hidden magical realm
- The Sims 4 Parenthood for about 18 USD, which deepens family dynamics with character values and parenting skills
- The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu for about 18 USD, a crossover pack set on the planet Batuu
- The Sims 4 Dine Out for about 18 USD, letting you own and run a restaurant
- The Sims 4 Vampires for about 17 USD, which adds a supernatural life state with power trees
- The Sims 4 StrangerVille for about 17 USD, a story-driven mystery pack set in a desert town
- The Sims 4 Jungle Adventure for about 17 USD, where Sims explore the Selvadoradan jungle and ancient temples
Prices are approximate and can shift. The packs at 17 USD are not lesser products. They just launched earlier or have a narrower scope. StrangerVille is one of my favorites and it costs less than a large pizza.
How the purchase works
Buying from our store is straightforward. You pick the pack, pay, and we send a redemption code to your email. No shipping, no waiting for a truck.
We are an independent reseller, which means we are not affiliated with EA or Maxis. What we do is source digital codes and pass them along to you at a fair price. If anything goes wrong with a code, you email support@blinkcodes.com and a real person sorts it out.
How to buy and redeem your code
- Browse our Sims 4 selection and choose the game pack you want.
- Add it to your cart and complete checkout using your preferred payment method.
- Check your email for a message from us containing your redemption code.
- Open the EA app on your computer, or download it if you do not have it yet.
- Sign in to your EA account, or create one if this is your first purchase.
- Click on your profile name in the top right and select Redeem Product Code from the dropdown menu.
- Type or paste the code exactly as it appears in your email, then confirm.
- Wait for the app to validate the code and add the pack to your library.
- Download the pack through the EA app and launch The Sims 4 to start playing.
If the code does not work on the first try, double check that you copied it without extra spaces. Email clients sometimes add line breaks that break the formatting. Pasting into a plain text editor first, then copying from there, usually solves it.
A few things worth knowing before you buy
Game packs are different from expansion packs and stuff packs. Expansions are bigger and cost more, while stuff packs are smaller and cheaper. Game packs sit in the middle and tend to offer the best value for the amount of content you get.
Your EA account region also matters. Codes from our store are generally region-free, but if you created your EA account in a country with heavy restrictions on digital goods, redemption can occasionally fail. If you are unsure, check your EA account region in your account settings before buying.
If you are gifting a code to someone else, just forward the email or copy the code into a message. The recipient redeems it on their own EA account. You do not need to link accounts or do anything fancy.
That is the whole process. Pick a pack, grab the code, paste it into the EA app, and you are building vampire lairs or decorating living rooms within the hour.
