eSim Austria

Make sure your smartphone supports eSIM technology and is carrier-unlocked. You can check this by dialing *#06# on your phone's keypad: if an EID number is displayed, the device supports eSIM.

After payment, you will receive a QR code in your order email or in your account on the store. If you are placing the order and installing the eSIM on the same device, open the QR code on another screen or print it out.

Connect to Wi-Fi and open your smartphone settings. On iPhone: "Settings" → "Cellular" → "Add eSIM" → "Scan QR Code". On Android (Samsung): "Settings" → "Connections" → "SIM Manager" → "Add eSIM". Scan the QR code. The profile will install within a few seconds. If needed, enter the details manually (SM-DP+ address and activation code from the email).

Install the eSIM in advance, but do not activate mobile data until you arrive in Austria — the plan's validity starts from the moment of the first network connection, so early activation will shorten the paid period.

Upon arrival in Austria, go to "Cellular" / "SIM Cards" settings and select the Austrian eSIM profile as your mobile data source. If using two SIMs, keep the physical card active for calls and SMS.
