eSIM Germany

Make sure your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. You can check eSIM support by dialing *#06# — if an EID number is displayed, your device is compatible. Compatible devices include: iPhone XR/XS and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer.

After payment, you will receive a QR code in your order email or in your account on the store. You can install the profile in advance — before your trip to Germany.

Connect your smartphone to Wi-Fi. On iPhone: Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data) → Add Plan → scan the QR code. On Android (Samsung): Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Add mobile plan → scan the QR code. On Android (Google Pixel): Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add → Download SIM → scan the QR code.

If the camera cannot read the code, use manual entry of the activation code — the "Enter manually" option is available on the same add-plan screen.

Upon arrival in Germany, enable "Data roaming" for the new eSIM profile in your smartphone settings and select it as the source of mobile data. The connection is established automatically.
