eSIM Spain

Make sure your smartphone supports eSIM and is unlocked. For iPhone: XR and newer. For Android: most flagship models from 2019 and later (Google Pixel 3+, Samsung Galaxy S20+ and similar). You can check compatibility in your device settings — go to the "Cellular" or "SIM Cards" section and make sure the "Add eSIM" option is present.

After payment, the QR code and setup instructions will be sent to your email within 1–5 minutes. Install the eSIM in advance — at home, with a stable Wi-Fi connection, before you fly to Spain.

Scan the QR code with a second device or print it out. On your smartphone, go to: on iPhone — Settings → Cellular → Add Plan → Scan QR Code; on Android — Settings → Network / SIM Management → Add eSIM → Scan QR Code. If needed, enter the details manually (SM-DP+ address and activation code from the email).

After installing the eSIM profile, enable data through this card and allow data roaming in your settings. Do not activate the plan too early — the validity period starts from the moment of the first connection to the network in Spain.

When you arrive in Spain, your smartphone will automatically connect to the local network and the plan will take effect. Make sure the eSIM is selected as the active line for data. Calls and SMS through your primary carrier number remain available via your physical SIM card when used in parallel.
