eSIM Turkey

Make sure your smartphone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. To check, dial *#06# — if eSIM is supported, an EID number will appear in the list. You can also go to Settings → Cellular and confirm that "Add eSIM" (iPhone) or "Download SIM" (Android) is available.

After payment you will receive a QR code — it will be sent to your email or available in your account on the store. Save the QR code and instructions on your device or as a screenshot before you travel.

Install the eSIM profile while you are at home and connected to Wi-Fi. On iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → scan the QR code. On Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM → scan the QR code. The profile will download in a few seconds.

After arriving in Turkey, activate the eSIM: turn on mobile data for this line specifically and enable data roaming for the eSIM profile. Turn off mobile data on your primary SIM card to avoid unwanted charges. The connection to the local network will happen automatically.

If the connection does not happen automatically, manually select the local network in your device settings. If needed, toggle Airplane Mode on and off or restart your phone. Do not delete the eSIM profile — reinstalling it may require contacting store support.
