Make sure your Nintendo Account region is set to Canada (CA). The code is valid only for accounts in the Canadian region — activation on an account from another region is not possible, and no refund will be issued in that case.

On the console's home screen, select the Nintendo eShop icon and launch the store.

Select the account you want to activate the subscription on.

On the left side of the screen, select 'Enter Code' and enter the 16-character code from your order email. Press OK to confirm.

Alternatively, you can redeem the code via a browser without a console — go to ec.nintendo.com/redeem, sign in to a Nintendo Account in the Canadian region, enter the code, and click 'Redeem'.
